CATALOGUE

BEST WOOD

Living Tree floors are made from unique Caucasian oak, which is characterised by its durability and fine grain, and is selected through a multi-stage process that involves three selections, each subject to the strictest requirements.We use every millimetre of precious wood in our production. We work not only with the central drying zone, but also with the entire trunk.

This is how the Living Tree collections are created - with textured grain and pronounced accents such as knots and sapwood.

SELECTIONS

SELECT

Calm, clean selection that preserves the natural color nuances of the wood.Knots up to 15 mm in diameter (no more than 2) and up to 10 mm (no restrictions) are allowed. Sapwood is not allowed, except for single planks, no more than 5% of the batch.

NATURE

Medium selection where knots up to 25mm in diameter are allowed, with no limit on quantity. One-sided sapwood is allowed, up to 1/2 of the width of the plank, with no limit on length, two-sided sapwood - total from 2 edges not more than 1/2 of the length of the plank.

RUSTIC

Active selection, in which knots up to 70 mm in diameter are allowed, with no limit on the number of knots; shrinkage checks are face and end shakes, single, up to 5 mm wide. Sapwood is allowed up to 1/2 of the length of the plank.

ROBUST

An expressive selection with an active wood pattern. The interplay of rich color transitions, contrasting sapwood, and medium-sized knots give the floor individuality and depth. Knots up to 45 mm, no restrictions on quantity. Sapwood is allowed, both light and dark, but not across the entire width of the board. Single cracks up to 5 mm are possible.
